SUPPORT THE HOMIES: Part Two

Hold Your Fork has collaborated with Gino Belassen to create SIX original “Works On Paper” to raise money for local restaurants/restaurant workers. We will be raffling off each piece on Monday evening. 100% of the proceeds from each piece will go to the restaurant that inspired it! (or to a fundraiser/restaurant/cause of their choosing). Each piece will be framed and is 16x12 in—pastel on arches watercolor paper.

The Raffle will go from Thursday, April 9th until Monday, April 13th, at 5 p.m.

TO ENTER THE RAFFLE:

Step 1: Venmo $20 to @HoldYourFork (One entry)

  • WHAT RESTAURANT/PIECE you are entering for

Step 2: Tell your friends

Step 3: Hold Your Fork will RANDOMLY select the winners (6 winners) on Monday night on IGTV. If you are out of state, we will pay for the shipping to get the framed art piece to you! 

Five of the pieces are inspired by one of the restaurants from the tote bag! The last one is inspired by the current times … each piece is inspired by things/ingredients from the restaurant. If you are a FAN of these restaurants, you should understand why everything is on the list! 


Glai Baan:

Yummy Stuffs, is the title of their specials board. And not only is the place filled with goodvibes, but it is also an ingredient in their “Sunshowers” cocktail. 


Lux:

Bianco:

The iconic pizza menu at Bianco, the names are too good not to list! PLUS lemons.

When Gino was a kid, Chris Bianco would come to his family’s house and pick lemons out of their tree. 

The dots after each item resembles their menu.



Loco Style Grindz:

We put the owner’s name Hinano on this one, because for the FANS of this place, Hinano is the man. HE is the soul of Loco Style! And of course KATSU!  

Worth Takeaway:

The fried chicken sandwich is my favorite, so of course, then the numbers are from their iconic bingo board hanging in the restaurant.

This piece is inspired by the current state of the world, a light-hearted take on times that aren’t so fun.

The lemonade is a node to our favorite Rose Lemonade from the Middle Eastern Bakery and Deli on 16th St.
