If you work in the restaurant industry this is a MUST read. If you support the restaurant industry this is a MUST read. Bourdain was a great and beautiful story-teller, and this is a story worth reading and re-reading. (He narrates this book on Audible, if you are into listening to books. I thought that was a great experience)
Matty Matheson: Home Style Cookery
Big fan of Matty! This is the only cookbook I put on the list, because he is a chef who continues to kill the game on YouTube, and I respect his hustle and humor.
Wine Simple by Aldo Sohm
The wine book we all NEED and deserve! Beautiful illustrations, simple and easy to read bites of wisdom. This is for people who love good wine and more importantly it is for people who don’t know what good food is.
Burn the Ice by Kevin Alexander
My friend Bryan had me read this book, and it was my favorite read of the year. This book highlights the rise of certain culinary movements, restaurant-styles, online personas, and more.
Salt Fat Acid Heat by Samin Nosrat
I loved the show, so I bought the book. This is PERFECT for new home cooks. The information really helps people understand what works well together and why. Simple cooking is good cooking ... and the illustrations are awesome
